Top Mobile App Marketing Trends for 2020

Below are some of the trends that will shape the mobile app Marketing domain for the year 2020:

1. Artificial Intelligence

Nowadays, it’s all about Conversational Marketing but we do know that conversations can take time, especially human interactions. But thanks to AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology, we can have instant conversations with chatbots.
These chatbots are pre-programmed with appropriate responses as per different user queries while further eliminating any sort of human involvement. They can be considered as Virtual Assistants for a mobile application that is available for 24/7 for the app users.

2. Voice Search

As of recently, we have witnessed voice applications proving themselves to be basic search engines with a primary set of features. Voice search apps like Alexa, Siri, and Google are great examples of how the popularity of these applications has skyrocketed over the past few years.
As per many Marketing experts, it has been claimed that voice search queries will make up about half of the total search user requests by the end of 2020. This number is only likely to go up in the future with a high demand for voice-activated devices, and the tech giant Amazon itself is setting a great example with its smart home devices.

3. Personalized Approach

There’s no denying the fact that users are more attracted to a personalized experience that is curated based on their preferences. So why not make the most of it? Brands and companies should work on Marketing strategies that are in sync with their app’s objective and their target user base. In other words, think about interacting with customers on a personal level to create a long-term relationship.

4. Video Content

The next mobile app Marketing trend that will be huge in 2020 is Video content. The main reason being, emerging technologies like AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality) are promoting content that is virtual in nature. In addition to this, customers are now looking for face-to-face interactions for their queries.
For example, businesses have now started to incorporate Video emails to boost their user engagement rate instead of going forward with traditional Email Marketing to promote their app.

Final Thoughts

The above-mentioned mobile app Marketing trends can help companies in stepping up their Marketing game and giving them an edge over their competitors in their respective industry verticals. Even market analysts suggest opting for a mobile-first approach to your Marketing plan has become a necessity for businesses nowadays.

Let’s face it, with multiple sources concluding that over  1 billion people use Instagram every month , you can rest assured that at least some part of that population fits the description of your target audience. This access, combined with the personal nature of Social Media Marketing, results in a sure-fire way to

What Is Programmatic Advertising & Media Buying?

Maybe you are new to programmatic advertising, or maybe you’ve been working in media and ad buying for years, but still can’t find a way to explain it in a way your parents could understand. Here we take an Intro 101 approach to programmatic advertising as part of our  MarTech Landscape Series . One problem with the term “programmatic” is it’s come to encompass many things, and, like most things in ad tech, it’s bogged down in jargon. Fundamentally, programmatic is just software-driven technology to automate all or parts of the ad buying process. There are really two main drivers for the growth of programmatic in recent years: Ad Buying Efficiency: Programmatic uses software and technology to automate the ad buying and selling process with the speed and scale that humans can’t achieve manually. Ad Targeting Relevancy: Programmatic offers advertisers the ability to incorporate large amounts of data, sometimes from multiple sources, to serve users with ads that are more likely
